ON JANUARY 26, 2010; THE CLUB WELCOMED IT'S 800^TH MEMBER. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF MEMBERSHIPS THAT HAVE BEEN CURRENTLY APPROVED TO BE ISSUED BY THE BOARD. NEW MEMBERSHIPS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AGAIN UNTIL AFTER AUGUST 2010 RENEWALS IF MEMBERS DO NOT RENEW AND OPENINGS WILL BE CREATED DURING THIS RENEWAL PROCESS. IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL THE INDIVIDUAL ATTENDS THE MANDATORY SAFETY ORIENTATION CLASS. ONLY AT THAT TIME WILL THE MEMBERSHIP MONEY BE PROCESSED AND THE INDIVIDUAL ALLOWED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CLUB. DETAILS OF THIS ORIENTATION CLASS ARE ON THE BOTTOM OF THIS WEB PAGE.

We send email notices about the safety orientation about 1 week prior and again 2-3 days prior to the orientation. If you wish to receive these reminders, please send an email to membership@basctx.com .

In December 2008, the BASC Board of Directors approved a pro-rating plan for first time members who choose to join mid-membership year. The plan is also available to former BASC members if three full membership years have passed since their previous membership expired. For example, if your previous membership expired at the end of August 2005 or before, you would be eligible for the pro-rating for the 2008-2009 membership year.

The plan provides that the Basic Membership ($120) decreases by $10 for each complete month that has lapsed since September 1st. The Spouse Membership ($60) decreases by $5 for each complete month that has lapsed since September 1st.

The amounts shown in the following chart also include the $10 safety orientation fee that is required of new members and members that allowed their membership to lapse.

Other options are not prorated.

Beginning May 1st of the membership year, the following terms also apply:

In addition to paying for the balance of the current membership year at the pro-rated levels, the member must also pay for the entire, following membership year with the same level of options. No pro-rating option is available otherwise. Should a member wish to join after May 1st but is unwilling to also renew for the following membership year, he will be charged the full year listed rates shown on the application for the remainder of the current year.

After May 1st, the Family option is reduced to $17.50 for the balance of the current year with the full $35.00 included for the following year.

After May 1st, there is no charge for Guest Cards for the balance of the current year, but you will be charged the full $15.00 each for that same number of Guest Cards for the following year.

The first column of the chart reflects the month that the application and payment are received by BASC. For that reason, we ask that these be submitted at the safety orientation. That ensures that you will be charged the correct rate and also that you will be able to use the range upon completing the orientation.

If you would like to become a member, please attend the next Safety Orientation Class. Classes will only be scheduled if the club is accepting new members. The club has a membership limit that will effect memberships available for new members.

Members may not join without first attending the Safety Orientation Class.

New members may only join at the Safety Orientation Class. Mailed in applications for new members will not be processed.
