It is not a requirement to join the National Rifle Association (NRA) to be a member of the BASC range. However, the Board recommends that each member consider joining the NRA because of so many reasons.

While the NRA is a single-issue organization, this organization is involved in any issue that directly or indirectly affects firearms ownership and use. These involve such topics as hunting and access to hunting lands, wilderness and wildlife conservation, civilian marksmanship training and ranges for public use, law enforcement-related issues, product liability, trapping, crime victim rights, criminal justice reform and continue to work to protect each US Citizens rights to keep and bear arms.

The NRA is the primary organization in the U.S.A. with millions of members whose primary objectives are to monitor government regulations and stand up for its members whenever your 2nd Amendment rights to keep and bear arms is in jeopardy. We as a independent group must stand united by showing our groups support to the NRA because if we fail to do so, this Club could someday become just a fond memory of an enjoyable place to shoot.
